Biller/CPC

WorkStar Health Services Inc, a managed care organization for Workers’ Compensation is seeking a full-time biller/cpc for our billing department located in West Chester. Responsibilities will include bill processing, bill review, coding, and customer service for incoming/outgoing calls from providers, employers, and injured workers.

Experience: High school graduate or GED. Minimum of 2 years full time equivalent of billing experience required. Basic computer knowledge required. Certified coder required. As a certified coder, must maintain this certification during the course of employment. Acceptable certifications include: CCS,CPC, CPC-H or CPC-P. Ohio BWC managed care experience is preferred, and will be compensated.

Nurse Case Manager

Description

Seeking a Nurse (RN) Case Management professional with a current unrestricted Ohio nursing license to medically case manage and provide review of treatment requests for Ohio injured workers. Must have 3 years of clinical experience. . We prefer a minimum of 2 years experience in workers comp. Background in med/surg and musculoskeletal injuries preferred. Current experience in the Managed Care field will result in additional compensation as will a current certification as CCM, CRRN or CDMS.

Requirements

• Current Unrestricted Ohio nursing license
• Must have 3 years clinical experience
• Prefer a minimum of 2 years of active case management experience in worker's compensation
• Maintains continuing education as required to maintain licensure and certification
• Excellent leadership skills, organizational skills and verbal and written communication skills a must.
